Why does STO use kids in so many commercials?

Don't get me wrong, but why does STO use kids in so many commercials... are they trying to gear themselves towards that audience or something? I just don't get it.

The Indians and therefore STO want to be a family package. You know, 4 tickets instead of 2.

Maybe they don't care because they had to give Time Warner 82% of their add revenue just to get on the air??????????
