Hello gang..
I finally made the move from the old STO boards. I was looking at some hockey-related posts and a thought occured to me..Would it be possible, with the advent of the new Lake Erie Monsters AHL team, for STO to do a special on Pro Hockey in Cleveland..of say at least an hour or 90 minutes..That would chronicle the History of the AHL Barons..As well as examine the other teams..and why they failed..Leading up to the formation of the Monsters franchise..Realizing there may not be much film footage (Though I know there is some out there) of Cleveland Hockey..You could imvolve Gene Kiczeck, Author of Forgotten Glory and High Sticks and Hat Tricks..2 excellent books on the history of Hockey in Cleveland..Maybe mention the High School Hockey programs in Cleveland... I would even like to see old game Hockey broadcasts if there are any out there..

I knew that was probably coming. If STO can make a documentary about Bob Feller's Hometown (Nothing wrong with that) and a No-name boxer from Youngstown..They could do something on Hockey..They might even get the rights to the Monsters..who knows..

How about Drennan has the random Blogger roundtable about once a week (as a trial) to discuss current events etc. for about a half hour on the show. If it works...the time can be extended etc

Of course, this would hinge on bloggers who have the game... you have to admit this would be an interesting idea.

I FINALLY got a chance to see the hour long STO special on Pavlik.

Impossible to dislike before seeing it, getting a chance to see how grounded, down to earth, and hard working Pavlik is ... makes you really appreciate how lucky we are to have one of boxings top 5 lb for lb fighters right here in our backyard.

Can't wait for the Taylor fight.

Top 10? Maybe.

You heard me cuz. Miranda was considered top 10 lb for lb, or close, and Pavlik took him apart at the seams.

When he TKO's Taylor, he will be in everyones top 5 lb for lb list.

You let me know what the wager is.
I'll be more than happy to take Taylor.

Without a doubt. As long as you're dead set on losing money on the fight ... you may as well keep it in the family.
