Malty, hoppy, pours great into a pint glass with a huge frosty head.
And absolutely potent at 7.5% alcohol.
Great Lakes try at an IPA. Very well done. Pricy at $9 a six pack but the fact that four produces a lethal buzz helps counteract that.

The only places I'll drink the Commodore are:
1) At home on the porch or couch, or:
2) Anywhere that I know I can get a ride on a bus or in a cab from or that's within safe walking distance.
I'll put the Commodore against any IPA brewed.
Cleveland may lack champions on the field, but Great Lakes is a World Champion brewer
