Anyone visit the Dailey Dish and see the rendering? Looks pretty exciting.

Is that the place to get the smack up there? The Flats?

Not sure if this is what JB is referring to, sorry Rich haven't checked the Dish lately.

CDT, the Flats was the place to be downtown in the early to mid 90's, well place to be if you wanted random bouncers to start with you in an effort to impress everyone else around only to be embarrassed by you when you run into them at a corner bar down the street from home a week later b/c they don't have their bouncer buddies and cops standing next to them.

If it ends up looking like that, it will be a major miracle.

They will take that design, fuck it up 8 ways to Sunday and put the final dagger in C-Town.

Most bouncers are shit eating dogs. Too dumb and useless to do anything else.

I used to hang out on the top deck of The Attic and watch those guys go to work on drunk-ass chumps.

BAR Cleveland, Attic, Have A Nice Day Cafe, and Heaven and Earth was where it was at.

The Basement. Bar Cleveland. Have A Nice Day Cafe. Bands at Fagans. Eating gyros at 2:30 AM and waking up with your belt and shoes still on and gyro sauce all over your shirt. Jaret Wright. Gary Miller pissing out the window. Fights. Cops. Doing the white man shuffle.

Good memories. Hope it comes to fruition close to what they are proposing.

The Beach Club. How could I forget that joint.

Had a lady friend that got in there presenting a library card ID at the door.

JB Finn's, Jimmy'Z, Fado, Holy Moses Water Taxi, all the rest.

Saw a very young and impressionable Julian Tavarez at Beach Club, underage, with Baerga and Mesa.

Vanilla Ice show at the Have a Nice Day Cafe circa 1999 is a Top 5 concert on my all time list. FOR REALS, yo.

No reference of the Rivers Edge? 32 oz drafts for $3, hanging on the deck or getting bar seat and watching Tim Manoa get embarrassed by a bouncer.

Slam Jams and their caged b-ball court

Rumrunners for a few and then head down to the Getlayedium.

Fagan's $1 Happy Hour from 5-9pm and douches swimming in their pool.

Pearl Jam, Spudmonsters, Belly, Yellowman, Crenshaw, etc at Peabody's. The Odeon wasn't too bad either.

Walk past Jeff and Flash's place 'cause it was lame.

Head over to the other side to Harbor Inn to play darts upstairs or head over to Shooters or Club 1148 if you wanted to go "clubbin"

Grab a slice of pizza from the window outside Jimmy's or as Rich said, any of the gyro stands and stand around in silence as you and your buddies go to town eating before getting in the car to head home.
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

I remember being at the Circus one night and the dancer had a dildo strapped to the top of a remote control car. She would pose in various positions while the remote was passed along pervert row trying to steer the car to glory. I was crying I was laughing so hard.
