Cleveland Becoming a Restaurant Town?

Cleveland has become nationally known for independent and sustainable restaurants, but it's the unique personalities and uncompromising hard work that the individuals behind these establishments infuse into each dish.

Been hearing this from different sources - that Cleveland is starting to develop a national reputation for good restaurants.

I'm not that much into the food biz, so any thoughts on if this is true or if its just some hype?

I agree with that article. There are some amazing independent restaurants not only downtown but scattered throughout the burbs. If I had the money and time, I would eat downtown every day. Mallorca, Crop, Blue Point, and the soon to be closed One Walnut are my favorites. Light Bistro is also good, had beef medallions that literally melted in your mouth.

Edit: Thanks for posting that article Commodore. Nice to see a positive article about this city.
