Had some ground pork in the icebox yesterday and decided to try something different...these burgies came out pretty damn good on the grill:
First I threw together a sauce using a couple chugs of the following:
Soy Sauce, Honey, Sriracha, Hoisin Sauce (asian bbq sauce, duck sauce should work fine too) and some minced ginger and garlic
For the patties:
Ground Pork, S & P, about 4 tablespoons of the above glaze...mix it together, make 4 patties and throw them on the grill
I then had some pineapple rings in a can and threw 4 of those on the grill for a minute or 2...
We had some of those Hawaiian sweet rolls and I slathered them up with the remaining sauce, added some romaine lettuce, the patties and the pineapple...
It's nice when you come home from work, you have no clue what to make and you're able to just throw some stuff together
