Remember, I drafted Armando Benitez and Danny Graves last season and still finished tied for 3rd in saves.

Take a look at the collection of stiffs + Carlos Beltran in your outfield there pal.

Remember where all that smack talk got you last year?

Buddy

Not overly concerned? There are no closers left, and you've yet to draft a reliever. That said, there are a lot of young guys still out there that I like to assume closer roles my mid May.

And when your infield is Derek Lee, Weeks, Furcal, Barmes, and David Wright ... you can afford to take some risks in the OF.

Beltran is going to rebound strong this year. Delmon will be up by May 1. Dye will get me 30 HRs and 10 SBs. And Milton Bradleys gonna blow up this year, as long as he stays outta prison.

There's always next year Crowley ...

I love The PLAYERS Champioship.

Just saw Olberhoser melt his way in from 17 & 18.

Another watery death!

You got em, right swerbo? Sorry bout that!

BTW, hasn't it been a hour? Or is it that you just like picking old yankees for me? I say stick Verba with Wright.

funny happening

I got a message from your site on my email.

When I tried to open it up, my name and password did not work.

So, instead of responding on that message, I came back to this site to see if my ability to get on line worked.

Obviously, it did.

I guess, I am going to learn something.

Maybe I need to use the Bellsouth password to open that email on the Bellsouth site.

I already read the message from Yogi, I guess I should have cleared it.

It was interesting for a few moments.

Swerb who will you designate?

Unread postby ramllov » Sat Mar 25, 2006 9:33 pm

Swerb

If you are going to be off site from 8 to 4. Who are you going to call to place your picks. Or rather who is authorized to input your choices after you call them.

If you have lists of players from members, same question, who are you going to authorize to place them on the board?

I realize we could be off line until 5 pm. I like the idea of getting some picks done.

We had a good thing going earlier today. We covered some ground.

Ram, I have no more lists from anyone. People can pm lists to you for tomorrow if they choose. If someone needs/wants to call me to get a pick from me to keep things going during the day tomorrow, they can do so at 440-552-0691.

Does Brian Fuentes from Colorado just not count?

Taking a break

Unread postby ramllov » Sun Mar 26, 2006 3:01 pm

It looks like everyone has had a chance to take a break on Sunday.

After I made the breakfast, I was invited to black top the driveway. Somehow I would have rather worked on fantasy baseball draft picks.

We should never let our wifes know what we are doing or when we get a break in time. They always find something that needs to be done.

Yogi

Unread postby ramllov » Mon Mar 27, 2006 2:31 pm

I have not heard from Yogi, for a current pick.

edit: Smart, I did not put Bruce Chen SP, Baltimore for Yogi, a few minutes ago. I am not going to place those type of picks. Swerb's job, although swerb has been consistent on his auto picks.

It appears there is a starting pitcher run. This is a nice string of starting pitchers in the 19th (11th) round.

No Swerb list

Unread postby ramllov » Mon Mar 27, 2006 4:51 pm

I have not received a list from Swerb.

After Buddy makes a pick, we can use the hour and I will pick a player for Verba that Swerb made earlier for another member from his auto pick.

I just received Jumbo's list.

If you are going to be away, please send me a list and we can get somewhere prior to 5:30.

Missing

Unread postby BruceK » Wed Mar 29, 2006 1:01 pm

I'm missing Jesse Crain in the RP category.

Swerb -- I thought about Michaels (I'd have both Crisp and Michaels) but ultimately went with D Young so that I would have a backup 1B too.
