Decent rankings. The one glaring player at first glance seems to be Rudi J. I'm not very high on him at all this season. Heard a lot of him splitting carries with Perry and Irons.

Also, while I'm not a fan of Denver running backs, I think Henry should easily top nine TDs.

Overall, a good forecast.

He's one of those guys that I'd just prefer someone else draft so I'm not left making the decision. If he's there at 12, I'd be hard-pressed to leave him there for two selections (serpentine, if that makes sense).

In any order, I'd rather have LT, S Jax, LJ, Gore, Addai, SA, Willy, Bush, or Westbrook. Henry, Brown and even Manning would likely be on my radar before Johnson at this point. If full PPR, Smith/Harrison/Holt would even be enticing since Rudi is near worthless in those formats.

But again, just my opinion...

The only beenfit to taking Rudi in any of those spots is you know exactly what you are getting.

2004 - 1454 yards, 12 TD
2005 - 1458 yards, 12 TD
2006 - 1309 yards, 12 TD

You can pretty much calculate his points for 2007 today.

I would temper my expectations if you're hoping for a repeat of those this coming year. Perry has been hurt for the last two seasons and is reportedly doing well. He's one of the better receiving backs in the league, but just can't stay off of the IR. Factor in Irons as well, and I think you're looking at Rudi getting half of the carries at most.

I smell a RBBC for Rudi this year. Initial word is that Irons is definitely impressing so far. Definitely something to watch during training camp. I agree with Sargent, let someone else draft him and worry about it.

Half the carries? No way.

Every team in July looks like a potential RBBC. Kenny irons will get some carries, Perry might get some catches (which doesn't hurt Rudi because he doesn't get catches).

Rudi will get almost all of their rushing touchdowns and a majority of the carries.

Wouldn't surprise me at all given Perry's history. I've been away for a few days, so I have a lot of fantasy work to catch up on. Irons still makes me nervous, but Perry missing time definitely helps Rudi's value.

While I do agree the bengals wil give Irons some carries this year, I don't think it will be enough to hurt R Johnson's fantasy value. I see very similar number again this year for Johnson

Frank Gore suffered a fractured hand at Monday morning's practice.

The report says Gore will miss "at least a week", but the bone will take four weeks to heal, so he could miss the exhibition season. This isn't an injury that should linger and scare owners in drafts. Gore's history of knee and shoulder problems are bigger long-term concerns, and Gore being fresh for the season could be a positive. He'll remain our third-ranked fantasy back in all formats unless he has a setback
