Pujols and Santana likely to go 1-2.
Torn between Reyes, Soriano, Carl Crawford.
Thoughts?

Reyes is the smartest pick. Soriano the sexiest. Crawford is my boy I've had in my main big keeper league for many years.
ARod, Ryan Howard, Big Papi also are tempting.

Pujols and Santana likely to go 1-2.
Aaron Boone. I heard he has had a great camp in Florida.

I'll take Boone with the 1st pick. Prolly better than anything else I will do tonight. I've never, ever done fantasy baseball so have no idea what players to target first....assume you go for positions with limited stars first then to other positions with loaded players later (OF and 1B). Who knows. All I know is I haven't researched a thing.....of course, if this were fantasy football it would mean I would have a great draft then as it always seems like the people you put the least amount of effort into the draft do well.

I say you take the Shapiro method and get a lot of platoon players and veteran relievers with arm problems.

I wouldn't count on Reyes being there with the 3rd pick...rumor out of Jeff D's camp says Reyes will be the #2 pick. I will be drafting for Jeff D. and if anyone wants the #2 pick, I would be willing to trade down. If not Reyes will be the 2nd pick of the draft. Dick, if you want Santana, he's all yours!!

Pardon th e stupidity of my questions...
How many players will we be starting total? 16? So, a 9-man lineup and a 7-man pitching staff you can put together in any way? So, I could go with all 7 as starters....or all 7 as relievers?
