Here is my fantasy team in the order I drafted them. Unfortunately I was not present for the first 2 picks but I got a pretty good team. I am in a 8 team league and we drafted 18 rounds. I got the last picks so most of my picks were back-to-back. Here we go:
1) DeAngelo Williams - HB (good pick I would've take him there)
2) Tom Brady - QB
3) Brandon Jacobs - HB
4) Greg Jennings - WR (originally they drafted Roddie White for me but I went with Jennings instead)
5) Dallas Clark - TE
6) Wes Welker - WR
7) Pittsburgh Defense (I f'ing hate the Steelers but what else can I say? Best defense in the league)
8) Chris Wells RB - (probably a stupid pick with Reggie Bush and some others on the board. Hopefully he gets better from his injury)
9) Derrik Ward - RB
10) Mark Sanchez - QB (not much else was left so I took a flyer on him)
11) Antonio Bryant - WR
12) Leon Washington - HB
13) Jamal Lewis - HB
14) David Akers - K
15) New England Defense (got a decent backup. will start NE D when we play Pittsburgh)
16) Devin Hester (good pick for late in the draft. think he's gonna have a big year with Cutler throwing to him)
17) Kevin Boss - TE
18) Josh Cribbs - WR (prolly could have picked him up as a free agent but nontheless a good pickup. he may even win the #2 or #3 WR spot this year.
QB - Tom Brady / Mark Sanchez
HB - DeAngelo Williams / Brandon Jacobs / Chris Wells / Derrik Ward / Leon Washington / Jamal Lewis
WR - Greg Jennings / Wes Welker / Antonio Bryant / Devin Hester / Josh Cribbs
TE - Dallas Clark / Kevin Boss
K - David Akers
Defense - Pittsburgh / New England
Overall, I think that HB is my best position and I think I'm weakest at WR. It all depends on how Hester does. I think Bryant was a steal getting him in the 11th round. Thoughts?? All input is considered. I was considering James Davis but I will pick him up as a FA if he does anything note-worthy.
I dropped Mark Sanchez, Derrik Ward, and Cribbs. I countered that by adding Correl Buckhulter (he's supposed to start for Denver), Roger Mason (can't go wrong there) and Brett Farve. The Cribbs cut might come back to bite me and I hope it does. I just want to see how many catches and touches he gets in the 1st few weeks of the season. I put the Steelers defense on the market looking to find a high-calibur wide receiver.
Thanks for all the input, jon
