Default time should be GMT -5, not GMT: mine happens to be GMT -6, but I'm likely unusual in this regard. A user from Ohio (EST/EDT) is going to be GMT -5.
Unless he's not. I'm pretty sure that's right, though: GMT -6 gives me the right time, so it sounds right to me.
