Swerb,

I'll be there around 3pm. Will there be anyone coherent enough to give me a wristband at that point or should I just take one from one littered bodies?

My guess is that JB will be unconcious somewhere on the asphalt by then. Just rip it off his wrist.

Just a reminder: Muni Lot likely to be filled by 10 AM tomorrow.

So if coming down after 10, make arrangements to park elsewhere and to get some sort of transportation from there to Muni.

Rich, I'll be there at 8:30

Driving a black Chevy pickup. I'll bring along a pop-up shelter, a couple tarps and a few extra chairs if that will help

Wear a big sign that says SWERBIE! and keep an eye out for me :-) :)

Just look for the one dark haired dude sitting alone at the only flippin' vodka bar in the lot. He'll be the one with private security and a band setting up around him.

Likely the only guy wearing a "Swerbinsky" jersey as well. Just a guess.

Yeah, I'll have a Swerb #19 white Browns jersey on.

People always tell me I look like the cat that banged the apple pie in "American Pie".

Looking to get down there at 8:00-8:30.

Also, I'm bringing my cornhole boards. Prolly wouldn't be a bad idea if a couple other people brought sets.

I saw Swerb. I saw JB. I saw the bartender about 20 times.

Someone tell me it was just a bad dream. I should be dead.

The tailgate was epic though.

Great job Swerb.

I think Swerb was shooting some video. Saw a couple pictures being snapped by others too.....so maybe they will make their way here. Had my wife gone there would have been a whole online photo album of about 1000 pictures on Snapfish by now. :P :-P

Good to see everyone, good times, and the beer and food spread was awesome. The band was good.....just something about a band playing live at a tail gate.

Right at about 6:30 boy did that wind storm come rolling in. We got outta there at just the right time.

Official tally:

Tore through 6 cases of vodka and 95 cases of beer by 6 PM, at which point we sucked the place dry.

125 cheesesteaks, 200 bacon wrapped sirloins, 2400 clams, and 650 wings.

I feel like I ran full speed into a brick wall yesterday. Like 10-12 times.

Great time though. Damn if the Browns didn't have to go and spoil it. AGAIN.

Also, not sure why but I thought "drunk guy eating steak" was way funnier than it probably should have been. For some reason I can't stop snickering watching that guy cut a piece of steak for 2 minutes before he can manage a bite.

Funniest part of the whole story is how rare that steak was.

Foreman cooked the steaks for another 15 min before he called the medium rare people to the line.

He demanded the steak. Foreman says, "it's not cooked". My boy says "F it, give it to me anyway".

Classic.

Last 2 min of that You Tube is absolutely priceless. When he finally gave up and just picked up the steak and started gnawing on it like a rabid dog I was laughing so hard I had to stop shooting.

Swerb/Tony,

Great meeting you guys. Tailgate looked like a blast, definitely put me down for next time.

If the Browns could always perform like the fans do in the tailgate I think they'd be 16-0 every year. Just walking around at 7:30 (when I got there) the place was packed and people were having a blast. Not to mention the weather was great up until about 6:30.

Now that I have had time to settle back down on the Gulf coast....what a frickin' party!!!! Nice to see some of the guys again and finally meet Oktane, John, and the illustrious JB and his lady, who despite her Steeler leanings is a great "chick". It was a "new low" and yes "the Bone Lady" is still hot in my book. In a trailer park sort of way that is.
