swerb, my fiance is diabetic...if she brings her own sugar free drink packets to mix with water, will the bartenders give her a hard time about adding liquor?

Kyle, we welcome alcoholics in any shape or form.

I've been offered $125 apiece for my two Dawg Pound seats to the Steeler game(right in the heart of the Pound, sec 119, row 27, seat 5, 6). The offer was from a broker or two who will resell the seats for approx $175 to $200 each.

If anyone here wants the seats for the $125 each (gotta sell 'em together to avoid hassles) then pm me and we can meet up at the tailgate and make the exchange.

The price is firm but I'd rather they go to a Browns fan as opposed to a broker dealing them to a Pittsburgh fan.

I have to be on a flight to Atlanta Monday morning and can't hang out in the lot all day and at the game all night.

Thanks

Peeks, I'll take em. Just talked to a bud coming to the tailgate that needs two.

Cool. You want 'em earlier than handing 'em over down there or just bring 'em? You can put your faith in the US Mail or in me not dying and being in attendance. Just let me know. No guarantee with either. 8) 8-)

A good friend of the site and a great guy, Hi Oktane, posted this in a separate thread: http://www.theclevelandfan.com/boards/v ... highlight=

It's a great opportunity for those of us attending the tailgate to not only have a great time with great people but also help out a great cause.

I'm throwing a $20 in a jar that we can have there all day. If you wanna throw a few bucks in the jar that would be great. If you'd rather donate via the link Oktane provided, just as good. Hell, it's all good as long as no one walks off with the jar.

Thanks all.

LOL ... you've been saying that three times a year for the last seven years.

You're a glutton. Now take your punishment like a man.

(P.S. Based on this week's results, we're adding a second vodka bar, a tequila bar, and a moonshine IV station for the tailgate next week.)

We're going to have a limited number of ClevelandFan t-shirts on sale at the tailgate. $5 from the sale of each shirt will also go to the JDRF cause that Hi Oktane told us about last week.

In addition to that we will have the jug available for any donation you care to make.

So, I'm looking for the big Browns bus and the orange tents at what appears to be the west end of the west muni lot?

....and I'll get a parking spot at 10 am?

BTW, my hat is off to anyone who gets there before noon, stays for the game and makes it to work the next day.....

Audie, the half of the Muni closer to the stadium. Halfway in. Against the railroad tracks, very close to the portajohns. Big RV, and a lot of people.

I'll have my Swerb #19 jersey on.

Can't miss us.

SHOULD be able to still get a spot at 10 AM, but I can't guarantee it. Our half of the Muni will likely be filled for sure. East half may have some spots still, then just walk down.

Lookin forward to meetin you brotha.

Audie, you may want to park in one of the lots on Lakeside. I believe they are $5-10 cheaper, and since the tailgate is so close to the front part of the muni-lot (close to E. 9th and the parking garage that butts up against it) I actually highly recommend it.

I know I'll be parking in one of the other lots and walking down.....and plan to come sometime around noon.

If its not raining I'm riding the motorcycle and won't let it out of my site for too long.

I figure to park on the walk if I'm lucky.

I'm also cutting out by 3-4

I'm comming for the food and to put some names and faces together

I find it helps soothe the cyber rep when one is a sarcastic caustic SOB like myself

So, again, is that the spot I'm looking for?

Into Muni lot from 9th St and down by the parking garage and the big Brownie Bus?

If you're entering the muni lot at 9th street we'll likely be about 500 yards from the parking garage (so heading back east) on the right side (south) of the lot (against the tracks).

That's where it was last year and The Lake Erie BB usually is in roughly the same spot every week.

If you stand at the vodka bar and salute everyone who walks up to it, you'll eventually salute the general probably 30-40 times.

He'll be the guy in the Browns gear Tom.

Ahem. Pittsburgh cheese steaks? Does that mean they marinate in piss ahead of time?

I know this is one of those French fries/"Freedom" fries type deals, but maybe for this one day, they oughta be Cleveland cheese steaks, no?
