So return TDs count in Orange but not in Brown? What are we, the US Govt, just change the rules on the fly as we see fit? Earlier in this thread the topic of return TDs came up. It was discussed, mentioned a couple of times, but at no point was it stated as a definitive rule. In the rules of the actual league on CBS it did not mention Individual Returns yesterday morning; now post-Bush it does. Here's a quote from Bush's page on Sportsline: "Bush was 12th player in NFL history to return two punts for TDs in a game. The last do it was Eddie Drummond of Detroit against Jacksonville on Nov. 14, 2004. Too bad his punt returns didn't help most Fantasy owners in standard leagues."

Reggie's returns do not affect my team; in fact its probably to my advantage to allow return TDs as I have Felix Jones (who's return TD did not count 2 weeks ago; neither did Sproles'). I just dont like the wing-it approach we've been taking with rules lately.

Sorry about the inconvience in the rules. Return TDs were suppose to be included prior to the season, but since they werent turned on, WE CANT change the rules because it would be unfair the people in the first 5 weeks didnt get it. We are going to keep it the way it was since the rule was never established in the TCF rules. We didnt mean to piss anyone off, we were just trying to use the rules that we thought were already included in the beginning. Thanks guys.

I don't know if I like my chances this week.

Up 19 points, facing only the Giants defense, no players of my own left.

If it was any offense other than the vaunted Cleveland Browns offense, I'd be pretty happy. That being said, I expect Cleveland to get waxed and DA to get sacked, picked, and concussed. I fully expect that the Giants will have 20 fantasy points scored by the end of the 1st half...and the only chance I'll have to recover is a 4th quarter comeback by Brady Quinn, throwing the ball all over the field and racking up points. But we all know BQ isn't seeing the field tonight, so tonight might be rough for me. But, if DA and RAC pull this one out for me, I'll be real happy getting a win without Westbrook in my lineup.

Alright, I think this is how TCF Orange is breaking down as we head into the playoffs. A lot of cake on the line fellas.

#1 seed (1st rd bye) - Vandelay Industries (9-3) - Swerb

A dangerous team that has improbably been led by the three headed monster at RB of Matt Forte, Thomas Jones, and Steve Slaton ... all mid round finds by Swerb. Drew Brees at QB. Terrell Owens and Calvin Johnson at WR.

#2 seed (1st rd bye) - The Ded Stepiens (8-4) - Peeker

Has continued to win despite no second RB to pair with Portis. Phillip Rivers and the Giants D have been rocks for Peeker, and Randy Moss is coming on strong.

#3 seed - TKO (8-4) - FightDr vs. #6 seed Sharp Schruters (6-6) - Nick Allburn

TKO, despite an 8-4 record, has the least points of any playoff team, thanks mostly to having absolutely no backfield. Peyton Manning and the Bucs D carried him in. Allburn's Schruters get a big win in the final week of the regular season to get in. They've been led all season by Michael Turner, and lately by Tyler Thigpen and Marshawn Lynch. Titans D have also been solid for them. Winner plays Peeker (I think).

#4 seed - Don't Tase Me Bro (7-5) - Jeff Wright vs. #5 seed Webster's Slaughterhouse (7-5)- jjgmyers and kindtim

These teams played this week, with Don't Tase Me Bro winning 113-87 to secure their playoff spot and get home field in this rematch. They've taken off since acquiring Kurt Warner from Swerb and also have had big years from Adrian Peterson, Anquan Boldin, and the Ravens D. Webster's Slaughterhouse started RED HOT, but have crippled to the finish line as Jay Cutler, Marion Barber, Brandon Marshall, and Jason Witten have faded. Winner plays Swerb.

Couple of questions:
1. How will you determine between 3rd and 4th place since they will both lose on the same weekend?
2. I would assumed if there is a tie for 1st in any of the Divisions, it would be broken by head-to-head first and then total points or conference record. Is that correct?

Brown

North Division

Turkey Jonesing holds on for the #1 seed. Highest scoring team in either league. Might have been the only team to even eclipse the 1200 point mark. Will player the winner of:

Stormtrooping Warriors and Jive Turkeys. Jive Turkeys just beat the Warriors in week 12 to keep them from overtaking the other Turkeys for the division (thanks by the way). They split their 2 meetings. One game decided by 2, one by 7.

South Division

Bonehlady's Boneheads win the division with a 7-5 mark. Third lowest scoring team in the Brown, but gets it done down the stretch, beating Cleveland Rocks in week 12 to win the division. This entire division went 3-3 within the division.

Uncomfortably Energetic and Cleveland Rocks will battle to earn a shot in the Conference semis. Both teams finish 6-6. The Energetic ones were victorious in their week 1 matchup.

Even with the great night by Drew Brees you beat Swerb by 3 points, 1237-1234. I also had over 1200 with 1213.
