Based on what I saw from Wimbley in game one, I would make that same pick in hindsight.
Baxter and Cutch are down with injuries, otherwise the team wouldn't be in dire straits at the position.
Strait was a bad mother in college, but has so far looked like one of those corners that's just not quite quick or big enough to make the same impact at the NFL level. That said, he's the teams second bext corner right now in the absence of Baxter and Cutch.
Suggs ... good riddance. I'll never forget the one time I interviewed Browns FB Terrelle Smith. He basically told me that Suggs was the biggest bitch he's ever played with. Refused to play hurt, was a china doll, and that he simply didn't have the toughness to be a 25-30 carry back at this level.
With Droughns as the starter, and rookie Jerome Harrison from Wazzu looking locked in as the 3rd down back ... it's down to Willie Green, Jason Wright, and my boy Chris Barclay to duke it out for the 3rd RB spot ... as the team will carry two fullbacks.
