Seattle wide receiver Joe Jurevicius will visit Cleveland on March 12. The two sides seem as if they are closing in on a four-year deal.

WTAM's Andre Knott and NFL.com are reporting JJ has been signed to a 4-year deal.

This was the #1 guy I wanted. Huge signing. Perfect for this team.

Joe J has evolved into a helluva reciever. He's everything the Browns need. Reliable, good hands, great in the red zone. Good character guy to mentor BE and KWII.

I love you Phil Savage.

4 years $10M from what I have read. The presser is on WTAM starting in a minute or two.

At the Super Bowl

During the Super Bowl self-introductions, when I heard him say "Joe Jurivicious, Lake Catholic High School" I thought to myself "Damn, he wants to come back!"

Excellent move
Savage said 5 quality free agents. Assume one will be the punter from the Ravens. Hopefully the 5th is LB.
Anyone see any reports about one of the premier LBs coming to town ?
Saw one report that says Witherspoon will have a new team within 24 hours.

More importantly, I wonder if he will come play some hoops at the Eastlake Community Center with us. I remember playing him a few times circa 1992 while getting ready for hoop it up.

This is such a great pickup. Joe J is a lunch pail guy... in the mold of Browns recievers from the past ... Dave Logan, Gary Collins .... (yeah Im showing my age)

I love it!

Furls,
I remember getting dunked on him like it was yesterday.
Now he's a Brown, how sweet it is.

If you get a chance, watch the video of the press conference on the Browns official site. Jurevicius's comments will bring a tear to your eye.

Jurevicius has gotten better with age. He was OK, nothing special his first 3-4 years in the league. 1st caught my eye with Tampa the year of their SB run, with many clutch plays in the playoffs, and in the face of the horrific situation with his baby boy.

Last year with Seattle, he was superb. Got better as the season progressed. Hands, character, reliability, and a weapon in the red zone. Can you imagine ... if BE and KWII can come back healthy? Thats three pretty talented red zone weapons.

Good riddance Antonio Bryant.

And what a great day to be a Browns fan. Not often we've been able to say that these last 10 years.

Just watched the press conferences and all I can say is......GAME ON! Bring them Sqeelers on. Rat-tirds, come on down. Bungals, can't wait! We are on our way. Shore up front 7 issues, have a solid draft, and let's play some football!
