This is the kind of piece that will give you hope. The attention to detail approach is exactly what this O needs. Let's see how this group of players responds. Great writing by Pat, too.

When Chud was getting on Mike Mason for his route running, he should have also got on him about staying out of nightclub fights.

Nice having you on the team while you lasted, Mike.

"A judge set his bond at $20,000. Because he has no Cleveland address and has no guarantee of making the team, he's considered a flight risk."

I'd say there will be little need for him to be hanging around Berea after about tomorrow or so.

Going back to the article -- reading that someone is demanding accountability is a very good thing.

This is the kind of piece that will give you hope.

Dude, I've had hope pretty much EVERY SINGLE FREAKING YEAR since I listened to that dumb-ass Trumpy blather on about "the rookie QB tipping his plays" during the '85 playoff loss to Miami. Even during the dark years I had hope of a re-birth without the ineptitude of the Modell family. We can all pick up the story from that point forward......

Long ago, in a galaxy far far away you likend our journey to Moses leading his people out of the desert. That's the level of hope I need. A well written piece about a first year OC on a dysfunctional staff who was not hired by the HC but by the GM is not a receipe for hope. I need a parting of the Cuyahoga or a burning bush on the Shoreway or some shit like that. Maybe even 8-8 would suffice.

How about the parting of the Shoreway by rioting Muni Lot fans and the Cuyahoga burning?

Finally got a chance to read this, a very good, very encouraging column.

Pac Mac is the shit.

The ABJ ... for a small paper, man, they have three really good columnists in Macmanamon, Pluto, and Windhorst. The best sports writer at the PD would be the 4th best at The ABJ.

At this point, the PD is better off giving the bloggers a go once a week just to see what happens. Shit, it can't hurt right??
