Browns CB Joe Haden agreed to 5-year extension with CLEV, as @ProFootballTalk reported. It's a $68M deal, including $45M guaranteed

$68 million deal with $23 million fully guaranteed and $45 million in total guarantees (the additional guaranteed money is for injury only).

I don't get the additional 22M injury guarantee part.

Gilbert avoids contact like Deion in his prime, so Joe needs a bit of insurance.
I don't need to be patient, they're going to be shit forever.

So did Dixon and Minnifield, fwiw.

As good as Deion may have been in coverage and return game, I never felt he was HOF worthy because of his total lack of run support.

Deion was a poor tackler. He and a hundred other corners in that era - like Dixon. Only reason it's a constant with Prime Time, is the guys act is gonna cause haters and haters need something to hate on.

With Deion that's the only thing they got.

You can probably remember 25 big games Deion's team won cause he eliminated the forward pass on half of the GD field.

Remember all those games his teams lost cause he couldn't tackle? Neither can I.

5 years. Hall.
