It's f***ing weed. My friend's grandmother smokes weed and it is hardly a PED. If anything it is the opposite.

But he still broke the rules. Still shouldn't be kicked out for a year

What a stupid, selfish, short-sighted punk. Is that a pre-requisite for great WRs in the NFL??? I told you we needed Watson or Evans with the first pick!! I wanted Lee at 35 before, gotta have him now.

Good lord, this country needs to get over weed much, much more quickly than it presently is. He'd have been better off getting drunk out of his mind and raping 4 women....NFL looks a lot more kindly on that scenario. Yeah, weed has made Michael Phelps and Kevin Durant unable to perform at all. I find it obscene he is being suspended for an entire year for this. It's all related to the chief wahoo stuff I think!! IT really is.

You telling me they test all the NFL players and none of those other guys are testing positive for weed?

Seems an interesting question. Unless repeat offenders get more intensive testing. Stupid rule, stupid penalty, stupid player. We hit the trifecta.

It's curious, though. A WR-heavy draft, and with this Gordon knowledge, we passed with our 2nd and 3rd. 2nd, specifically, as there was a lot of talent, and a subsequent run after we took the OL.

Can't say I hate the picks, though. I can't say I follow the draft as much as I did 10 years ago, but I feel like I see a plan. I respect that the Gordon news didn't affect their short term, much like Watkins vs. Gilbert/future #1. I think I like a dedicated coverage OLB/oversized safety which Kirksey appears to be. A defense with a plan. 2 very good press/man CBs, a consistent vet safety, a strong DL, Dansby in the middle. This could work.

If Gordon is in the SAP then I believe he is subjected to mandatory/random testing way more frequently than if he wasn't in the program. Also, and this is part that doesn't allow me much sympathy despite feeling the pot issue is a joke, they only test for pot for roughly 100 days in the off season, I don't believe they even test for it during the season. So how a guy can't stay clean for roughly 100 days is beyond me.

80 million dollars or a night/hours of fun with pot, tough decision I know.
