Note on Harrison

A quick report in the abj slips in that Jerome Harrison is up to 212. If he can play at that weight w/out being a truck, then he has a chance to make an impact.

Interesting.

Maybe the extra weight will help prevent him from fumbling.

Will it teach him how to pick up a blitz?

God let's hope so. And here's to hoping J. Lewis has been showering in the fountain of youth to get that spring in his step back. That with some anger and playing for a contract should help our yards "per" average.

SD:

Harrison and Wright could give us a dynamic change of pace with more effective blocking mates in front to create some seams , which they might get this year with our offseason upgrades .

Lewis played injured last year , IIRC he had some scare tissue removed and cleaned out of his ankle this offseason , and in addition , the federal lockup didn't do him any favors , he wasn't allowed to work out ie lift weights during his four month stint , and the entire episode was a distraction much like Droughns getting paid and then tossing his wife out into the yard ,effectively screwing with his concentration and use as a team leader.

The guy might not be able to burn Ya coast to coast with his speed like when he mauled us for 500 yards in two games enroute to a TWO thousand yard season , but he aint going down from the wind of a Hanky dropping like Metcalf up the middle either.
