SD:

I see Bridgewater as a 4 A prospect in a class where the rest are A- B+ at best , with some being totally ill fit for this offense , despite their athletic prowess and skillset displayed in the read option College sets .

Maybe a propsect as yet who develops over the next 10 weeks and post season , who would rate a solid A to A+ entering the draft , but he as yet has not shown his head yet ASFAIC.

Teddy despite the lack of competition is as far above this field as a Masseratti is to a
yugo , and it ain't even that close.

Smart franchises like the 49ers and the Seahawks (as just two examples) found their guys, and neither of them used even a 1st rounder, let alone a Top 3 pick for Kaep and Wilson. Sayin'.

As with a job.....or a girlfriend.....the best time to find a new one is when you already have one you like. The Niners and Seahawks situations were so completely different than the one in Cleveland they can't be compared.

SD :

He's coming on the outside turn two links behind right now, but could be solid second when it's all over and done with,

"""if""" he continues to progress and grow exponentially.

Carrying a team on his boulders and making them better due too his play , is what I'm waiting to see on a consistent basis.

One or two upsets , aren't the. Same as him leaving no doubt he's the difference on the field.

Any of the top 3 Teddy, Mariotta and Boyd can get us where we need to go: if we modernize the offense out of Norvs Sid Gillman 1966 stuff.

(I'd include Hundley but I'm just annoying Eye.)

I want to see them use the 2nd 1st to add not to package in a Teddy or Die Strategy.

The variables:

Where do the Colts finish?
Where does the anti-Clowney nonsense go?
How successful is or tank?
Most importantly how many of the Big 4 come out?

My wet dream would be:

Successful 1-15 tank to get Teddy (beat the Inbred at home).

All 4 QBs come out making this the best QB class since 1999 heh

Clowney still plays to not get hurt

Colts suck to get us to striking distance of Clowney

Draft adds Teddy and adds Clowney to Mingo & Kruger.

Draft the fast, smaller WR to fit the spread in round 2.

Lewis heals and get another RB in 3

Draft a 2nd QB in 4. A white kid will fall like Murray.

Use the GD FA process for a real CB two real safeties and a RT and real vet WR. Schwartz goes to RG & Gilkeu Faulk duke it out for LG.

Then Id give a shit before maybe 2015.

I assume that was a mistake, but it's a pretty perfect SDism that you should intentionally use in the future.

Since none of them have to part with California co-eds a la Leinart, Luck, and Barkley, and since the rookie payscale makes waiting for less competition at the top of the draft less of an issue (in fact, I'd think it even becomes an incentive for the #4 guy to declare and have a chance to go to a better team), I'd say there's a decent chance that all four of Bridgewater, Mariota, Boyd, and Manziel declare.

And I feel the same as I did in 2012. I don't want to package multiple #1s to move up. If the right guy's there, I take him. Whether "there" is with one of our 1sts, or our 2nd, or some later pick.

The Colts have a pretty tough 6 game stretch starting on Sunday. We'll have a decent idea about where that pick might fall pretty soon, I think.

My dream scenario right now would go:

1A: Clowney

1B: Mariota

2: Seastrunk or DeAnthony Thomas

3-7: players who don't suck

FA DBs & OL. And Ben Tate would be awfully nice, too.

I thought JB's Big 4 were Teddy, Boyd, Mariota, and Hundley?

Manziel's not a big anything (setting someone up in 3, 2, 1....)
