1. Is R&R Dead or it it at an all time high since it's now almost completely divorced from Top 40 and dominated by indy bands?

2. What is on the menu for the Browns game I am sure you will all be watching?

3. By what game is it Campbell time?

4. Assuming J-ville is even more inept than us, Boyd or Mariotta?

5. What would it take for you to buy an electric car?

The music is similar, but the definitions have changed. Now it's Alt Rock or a branch off that tree. Don't know where you put The Black Keys, but they're fucking good.. You know, it's only rock n roll but I like it.

2. What is on the menu for the Browns game I am sure you will all be watching?
SSDD

3. By what game is it Campbell time?
After the bye

4. Assuming J-ville is even more inept than us, Boyd or Mariotta?
Taj Mahal, baby

5. What would it take for you to buy an electric car?
80% below MSRP. Either that or they re-engineer them to deliver gobs of torque and a pretty peppy 60mph to 80mph. acceleration.
I don't need to be patient, they're going to be shit forever.

1. Is R&R Dead or it it at an all time high since it's now almost completely divorced from Top 40 and dominated by indy bands?

I've been buying a lot of $1 CDs from The Exchange of 90s rock. Just picked up Days of the New's self titled effort and Silverchair's Freak Show today. There are a handful of bands I still listen to that started in the late 90s, early 2000s, but I probably haven't been a fan of a band that started within the last five years.

2. What is on the menu for the Browns game I am sure you will all be watching?

Not watching.

3. By what game is it Campbell time?

It won't be.

4. Assuming J-ville is even more inept than us, Boyd or Mariotta?

Boyd, if they take a QB.

5. What would it take for you to buy an electric car?

Auto makers no longer making real cars.

Rock'n'roll will never die

2. What is on the menu for the Browns game I am sure you will all be watching?
Pepperoni, sausage, ham, onion pizza

3. By what game is it Campbell time?
Week 6?

4. Assuming J-ville is even more inept than us, Boyd or Mariotta?
Isn't Boyd considered the second-best eligible QB?

5. What would it take for you to buy an electric car?
300 miles to the charge, less than $25,000 (in other words, never)

I think JBs point was that Bridgewater will already be gone to Florida's armpit

1. Is R&R Dead or it it at an all time high since it's now almost completely divorced from Top 40 and dominated by indy bands?

I don't know. I'm 38, which means I've picked the music that will be my music for the rest of my life and anything new I stumble onto will be by accident. If I had to judge by the radio, though, I'd say yes, it's deader than shit.

2. What is on the menu for the Browns game I am sure you will all be watching?

Tuna wrap and carrots. Don't judge me, I'm doing something over here.

Oh, and beer. Because I'm not completely insane yet.

3. By what game is it Campbell time?

Good Lord, can we make it Sunday?

4. Assuming J-ville is even more inept than us, Boyd or Mariotta?

Boyd, but only because he seems to be higher on the lists I've seen, not because I actually know anything about either of them.

5. What would it take for you to buy an electric car?
I went to the Tesla sight and built one. The one I built would only set me back by around $98,000. And that's before I pay whatever it costs to equip the garage for recharges. I think they are onto it, though. Once the cost comes down a bit, they have more highway charging/battery exchange stations, and they can eek out a few more miles on a charge I think a lot of people will be in. And I don't think it's THAT far off.

Meh, on second thought, fuck it...I'm taking the hyperloop.

Oh.

Yeah, reading comprehension isn't a skill of mine.

Guess we'd take Boyd.

1. Neither. Rock is different; the blues, for example, are dead.

2. I'll record it and see how much I can stomach around dinner time, which will be grilled chicken with homemade Gates BBQ sauce.

3. The day after the Lions game. Happy birthday, old man.

4. Didn't you basically ask this same question last week?

5. As a 2nd family car, enough money to buy a Tesla. As a primary car, a network of battery-swap stations comparable to gas stations now. I'm not waiting a half an hour after I pull up to the charger every few hours on a road trip, and I can't be tethered to one N/S route on each of the coasts. I know they have plans for expansion, but that's a long ways off.

1. It's in a transition phase as I wouldn't call many of the Indy bands out there very good. Feel free to send me some good tunes to change my mind.

2. Menu still under consideration. However, there WILL be a Pumpkin Beer tasting, and probably some liquor as the Cpt. Morgan/Smirnoff salesman is a friend of mine and will be in attendance. JB, you're only five minutes away from my house!!

3. No later than Game 6 if nothing changes.

4. Unanswerable until the college season ends. NEVER make early predictions. Lesson learned from my year of forced mock drafts at BR.

5. Someone to guarantee me my money back when the damn thing doesn't perform as advertised.

IMlthO, those three range from meh- to eh; if you enjoy them, OK, good, listen away. Though, before I make an actual point...

"Jon Spencer was born in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1965 to a university professor and a cardiology technician.[1] He attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island where he was..."

^just no.

...yeah, so anyway, I think there was something inherently static in the blues tradition that ensured a pre-determined death. The fact that there's such a thing as blues standards, for one. A lyrical style that feels so essential to the genre, and one that also dates it to a pretty specific period of time, for another. Can you even imagine a 20-something singing "Little Red Rooster," for example, without looking a bit like some medieval faire nerd a-harking and a-hithering?

Can contemporary blues, outside of a few old timers still hanging on, really be anything but an awkward impersonation of classic blues? I don't think so. Maybe someone comes around someday to breathe some new life into it, but I don't see it.

Congrats on finding a Wikipedia page.

Maybe listen to some of the music before you pass judgement, but hey...whatever you think makes you Mr Blues.

Check out his shit with Burnside, you might like it. Doubtful, but possible.

Ahh the early chill of fall while sitting on the bnaks of the mighty Erie. I caught like 17 sheephead and 9 perch today. Or it may hvae been the same sheephead 17 times. Either way i'm an excellent angler. And yeah maybe i've had some whiskey and beer, so what? Does that mean that Rock is dead?

JB's stupid questions in the wrong forum answer time.

1. No. Aslong as Clutch lives, rock lives. I do not give a FUCK about all these shitty little swoopy haired Twunt bands. I combined twat and cunt there, did u see it? Damn im fucking awesome.

2. Something that comes back up easy. Beause the Browns are shit and they make me want to vomit.

3. It doesn't matter. They will still suck MEGACOCK with eitther shithead QB. The org is a toiletbowl that won't flush but people keep pisssing and shitting in. The back of the tank is where tehy keep the money they get from suckers dumb enoough to pay and watch that shit.

4. Boyd. By a mile. Mariotta is a nothing.

5. I would never agree to drive one. Because i'm a real man.

Not as sold on Hundley as Taj or Matiotta.

The correct answer is RR has never been better.

Now that the heard has been culled as the industry focussed on the disco revival, shirty females with obligatory no name rapper bridge, & cuntry crossover there's no more arena rock crap & the dinosaurs are now officially adult contemporary .

If u knew nothing about who they were and played the Keys next to Zeppelin, Elvis, Beatles or anything from the 60s or 70s there's no question.

1. Not dead at all, just different, in different times.
2. Typical game in which we need to step it up, we do to a point, but still lose a game we coulda won againsta div. rival.
3. Game 6 , but why bother, too similar to Weeds anyway.
4. Haven't seen enough yet
5. 100 miles range with full recharge capability in 4 hrs, for under 30K to give serious consideration, unless were talking disposable income stuff, in that case I'd buy a Tesla right now. EVs still a long shot either way.

Are you saying gobs of torque, or gobs of torque so 60-80 is more peppy? B/C the former is inherent in the design.
