The reality? Because Dumervil plays the same rush linebacker spot in this defense that Kruger does, and they are paying Kruger 8M/year to do it.

And before you say "Well, they should have just waited and gotten Dumervil" there isn't a person alive who predicted faxgate. Also, based on the teams interested, Elvis was looking to go to a contender, not rotate at OLB on a 5 win squad.

Provided the Browns get a young pass rusher with elite upside in the first round, I don't care, either.

^^^^^^ shaking head yes, good points sept, Elvis is better than kruegs. We or anyone would welcome the problem of having to get them both on the field at the same time. True he was looking for a contender and got it.

We have the cap room. It would have freed us up to get the best corner in the draft without debate. Now we will ad nauseum debate milliner vs. J jones, bart, etc.
