Browns' Playoff Scenarios

Need CIN and PIT to lose 2 of 3 each
Need to win out
Need NYJ to lose one and BUF to lose one as well

IF PHL, DAL, CLE, TEN and SEA win next week

and if CLE and PIT win week 16

then CLE vs. PIT is for a playoff spot week 17

Here's an easy to remember scenario:
If the home team wins every game going forward, except CLE over DEn and PIT, then we go to the playoffs.

Note there are other scenarios, but with a lot of help this week, it almost becomes realistic*








* until you realize Denver is going to kick the shit out of us.

How's this scenario:

Weeds has a terrible first half against the Skins, and we trail at halftime 35-3. He has a slight hammy tweak, so Colt comes in and leads us back to victory, 41-38.

The next week Shurmur goes back to Weeds and he has a subpar first half again. Charlie Frye vs PIT esque first quarter, Browns in a big hole and Colt comes back in and leads us to victory in Denver, but in a not altogether inspiring manner, 19-17.

All week there is a QB controversy and Shurmur goes with COLT for the win-and-in game vs. PIT. Colt performs altogether Colt-like (which is pretty below average) and we eke out a win, 9-7. PLAYOFFS!

Colt then becomes the Trent Dilfer of this team. Game manages while the defense, which is now on fire, takes over games. He amasses a 59.5 QB rating for the playoffs and we almost win the Super Bowl because the defense allows 6 PPG for the four playoff games, except of course we lose it due to some freak play like a blocked punt with a minute left.

Shurmur's offense is a failure, Weeds is a train wreck, and Colt is almost a hero but not really because he's the terrible QB we know him to be.
