Interesting.

In a nutshell ...

When asked if he will emulate the Chargers O, he said you have to look at what others have been succesful with, but its more about adapting to the personnel you have.

Charlie is the starter, but he was very noncommital and said it will be a competition.

Basically said a vet QB wasn't brought in cause none wanted to come here.

In kind words, said Charlie wasn't smart enough to audibilize alot at the line like a Peyton Manning.

K2 will be ready for the start of Traning Camp.

Expects BIG things from BE and his commitment to the offseason program has been strong.

8 Ball is hungry. Has a chip on his shoulder. Desperately wants to show that he is still an elite back.

Terrified of the RB situation behind 8 Ball.

On concerns about the right side of the line, said Tucker looks like hes back. Immediately mentioned Butler, McKinney, Sowells. Said Shaffer's "in the mix". And that the best 5 need to be on the field.

K2 will be ready for the start of Traning Camp.

Q: Will Kellen Winslow be ready to play for the start of training camp?

A: I'm expecting him to be there. That's all the indication I've gotten. Everything I've heard is he's on track and he'll be ready to roll. I'm not sure what his level of involvement's going to be in OTAs. It won't be full speed from the get-go. All I know is for training camp, he'll be ready.

When I read this article in the morning that comment about "Everything I've heard is he's on track " really stuck out to me. It says Chuds been there everyday and it's been documented K2 works out there everyday as well. So he's telling us that he's getting his info second hand? Arent they long time friends? To me that comment is alarming. I hope to god K2 is ready but I'm not sold on it.[/quote]

I would take the "Everything I've heard is he's on track" is from a number of sources, including K2. I am sure he gets the info from doctors and the org. as well. You might be reading too much into it.

There is also the chance that Chud is trying to not be "boys" with Kellen. The OC being tight on a personel level with one of his weapons could be misunderstood by others.

This doesn't surprise me. I always got the impression that while Charlie isn't necessarly dumb, he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, either. I don't have anything to base it on really, other than hearing him being interviewed.

Good piece & thx for th link Swwerb.

As for Chud?

Fudd, Arians, Robiske, Carthon, JD....

Show me some shit, Rob, then I'll buy into all the details about what's new and different.

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the foe, that' all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

That cracking sound were my brittle ribs in laughter @ JB's remarks & fine rendition from one of the WHO's final tours. Chud's ok, and appreciate his spin, but seriously folks what's up with the rest of the staff? Are they dance partners to "Dead man Walking" RC if no improvement or are they really capable? I haven't been blown away by their resumees, and I think they mostly have one year contracts..........

Q: How many multiple-receiver sets do you expect to use?

A: I think that'll depend on what we have. Once we get in to see if there are receivers we'd like to get on the field, are we stronger in multiple tight end sets, or two-back sets? That's what I'm itching to see, what we have, what are the guys' strengths and build and mold from a personnel standpont.

My favorite part of the interview, because we get to see that no matter what, Chud is no Mo Carthon.

Also, the PD editors suck for not correcting "standpont."
