"I'm all about winning." "I will not tolerate losing." "I'm bringing a chanpion to this city to this great fanbase that deserves it so much."
Where have we heard that before?
Oh yeah. Every coach, GM, and owner to come to Cleveland.

Let's review the past owners/coaches, because I did get a different feeling this time.
Owners:
Al Lerner: Escorted the last franchise out of town, kowtowed to Art Modell. Conclusion: I had no faith, was just glad the Browns were back.
Randy Lerner: Never won anything, did anything, accomplished anything, or seemingly contributed to society in a meaningful way. Conclusion: I saw the train wreck coming and was determined to survive it.
Coaches/Front Office Personnel:
Policy/Clark: Much optimisim, turned out they were snake oil salesman. Conclusion: I got fooled, was determined not to get fooled again.
Butch Davis: I think I purposely blanked these years out of my brain, all I remember is bluster followed by me screaming in frustration at the drafting of the Souljah followed by an "eensie weensie" fracture of some kind before Davis tucked his tail between his legs and went crying to his mommy. Conclusion: I spent those years drunk.
Phil Savage/Romeo Crennel: Two people completely in over their heads. Conclusion: Guarded optimisim gave way to cynicism in about a year.
Eric Mangini: Tyrannical Know-it-all who had no capacity for self-reflection and a complete inability to understand an offense needs to score points. Did not understand head-coaching at a fundamental level, preferring to ape Bill Belichick-isms without understanding the underlying reasons behind Belichick's success. So you got all the attitude with none of the winning. Plus, Brian "Fucktard" Daboll, The Worst Offensive Coordinator in the history of the Game (Applied for trademark). Conclusion: Skeptical of this hiring from Day One, initially defended roster purge, was sick of the whole thing by the Bye Week. Can't believe Holmgren kept him around.
Mike Holmgren/Tom Heckert/Pat Shurmur: Holmgren, while successful as a head coach, had failed as a FO guy in Seattle, so I couldn't understand what Lerner saw in Holmgren other than he was the first guy to ask for an interview, so that gave Lerner an opportunity to hire someone and go back to England. Plus he not only allowed Mangini to stay another year, he let him keep TWOCITHOTG (Trademark applied). Heckert seems to be the "blind squirrel finds a nut" item in this whole thing as Heckert appears competent at his job, making very few visible mistakes so far. Shurmur is Romeo Crennel V. 2.0 complete with the overwhelmed looks on the sideline and the "What just happened?" look on his face appearing frequently. Conclusion: Waiting/hoping for security to escort Holmgren out of the building. Over/under on Shurmur getting fired is Week 13.
Haslem: Took a successful business and made it bigger and better, so he's accomplished something. Bought into the Steelers and knows how a successful football organization is run. Says he will study under Robert Kraft in the coming weeks. Plus, he definitely WANTS to be an NFL owner. Conclusion: How can this NOT be an improvement?
