Barclay is my sleeper. I actually paid attention to him at Wake, as he was on my college fantasy football team in back to back years.

Hes been great in Europe, both on ST and toting the pill.

War: Dave Ragone

Most of Barclay's yards are KO retrurn yards. He has 184 rushing yards in 4 games on 57 carries. Yawn.

I still believe the Browns will fill the backup RB void late in camp by picking up someone cut from another team. Usually every year there are some good backup RBs cast off from other teams as cuts are made, so that is where I think we find a short term fix.

BTW - This is pretty well reasoned Swerb.

I can't quibble much except there always seems to be one or two surprises in camp by some UDFA.

I also think Justin Hamilton is further along than you, and I'd swop out him and Bradon McDonald, w / B Mac going to the practice squad.

I also call Orien Harris over Frasier or Kelley. Only 1 of those 3 stay. I'm thinking they've seen enough of Kelly if they signed Smith. But Frazier will have had to gotten stronger to stick.

Purcell will also be on the developmental roster if they are slotting im to play DE and not OLB. At 278 and by looking at the photos, no way is he yet big enough to play NFL 3 - 4 DE. He may be able to bulk up in a year. Ditto Chase Pittman.

I actually had to think hard over what OLmen to cut. Sems like they like Rob Smith, and personally I'm rooting for Matua. Wish they could beat out Friedman and Butler with the flexibility that Steinbach provides. A question may be wheat position Sowells ends up at. Mother Tucker may also not recover from whatever must not be named.

$ite sez:

The Browns have signed linebacker Kevin Sears, offensive lineman Cliff Louis and running back Jerome Jackson, the team announced Tuesday.

...

To make room on the roster, the team has released three players who signed as undrafted rookies lat week: running back Tyrone Moss, offensive lineman Rick Drushal, and linebacker Funtaine Hunter.

Cliff Lewis is bloody huge without being a fat slob. Be nice if we could catch a break w/ a developmental O lineman & develop a young Zeus.
