A lot of those guys ain't shit on a lesser Team.

The Patriots are full of guys that suck individually but can play in a Team landscape.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.

Good point Hik, but some are pro-bowlers, and this is only a partial list. Most are way better than what we got. Point being.

Here's one thing that I always wonder - is it the player? Or is it the team?

All those 70's Steelers in the HOF? Are the still wearing gold jackets if they were drafted by the Saints?

All those 80's Niners HOF's? Are they still giving speeches if they got picked by the Cardinals?

90's Cowboys - same thing. How many are truly great and how many were allowed to excel because they were lucky enough to be drafted by a dominant team?

There are always players like Dan Marino and Barry Sanders that would've been great no matter where they went... but a lot of "great" players were "great" because fortune sent them to "great" teams.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.
