Just praying for Rodgers to come out and say something like, "I don't pay much attention to it. I'm just concentrating on actually winning more than one title here in Green Bay."

Rodgers predictably takes the high road ...

Aaron Rodgers(notes) is shrugging off Brett Favre’s(notes) assessment of his success.

The reigning Super Bowl MVP would rather talk about the accomplishments of his Green Bay Packers teammates than dwell on what his predecessor thinks.

“I’m just going to say that I was really proud of our team,” Rodgers said. “It takes 53 guys to win a championship and we had the right recipe last year and we’re trying to do the same thing this season.”

Chuck Woodson pretty much told 4 to STFU on PTI, without saying STFU.

These last few years Favre has proven himself to be a world class asshole. Shame, but he is severely tarnishing his legacy. Also, I agree with the notion that Rogers is playing at a higher level than Favre ever did...and it isn't close.

Maybe Favre is just pissed that everyone knows he has a small cock.

Sure Rogers is playing at a higher level than Farve but he benefits by a league where the cap has watered down the talent disparities to a point where a singular position matters and the league has bent the rules to a point where that position is at a gigantic advantage over any previous generation.

It's not Farve's fault the NFL still resembled an actual quality league when he was in his prime.

Favre is a dick. No doubt.

But, devil's advocate...he is kind of right, isn't he? I mean Rogers is awesome and barring injury I'm convinced he would have succeeded anywhere, but he did fall into a good situation.

Literally fell in the draft right into it.

The problem isn't whether Favre is right or wrong.

It's about being a dick.

And a bad teammate.

Look at Vizquel. I doubt ole' Omar was lying when he told us all that Mesa had a skeered look in that 9th inning.

You could call him right.

The fact he did that TO A TEAMMATE, WHILE THEIR CAREERS WERE STILL GOING ON, and worst of all IN A BOOK. Well, that makes him a dick, a bad teammate, and, a rightful target of Mesa beanballs for a couple straight years.

Rodgers counts, Favre no longer does. But he sure is trying.
