Linebackers at the Combine

Unread postby bucknutz94 » Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:34 pm

Notes:

Martez Wilson from Illinois ran a 4.44. Dayum!
Miller ran a 4.48
Homan ran a 4.66, which is pretty good for him as he is up to 240 lbs and had the highest number of reps on the bench.

Von Miller is a freak.

I have to stop paying attention or I'm gonna be like a kid regarding his Christmas wish list:

I want that, and that and that.

Whoever said they wished we had 3 first rounders wasn't lying. What all this tells me is that rounds two and three may be more critical than round one. ;-) ;)

Geez, say goodbye to Wilson in the 2nd round, he wont be there.

Our best hope is that someone does fall in love with a player that can only be had at #6, so we can trade down and get more picks with these wonderful atheletes and football players.

At this point in time, the more top 3 round picks, the better.

Ughh... Belichik/NE has two picks in each of the first four rounds.

How's that for planning or luck or a combination of those who plan carefully get lucky?

Potentially restock their D for the next 6-8 years in one draft. F-Boston.

Forget the mediot's hype. NE's O skilled positions are bullcrap other than Brady. BB has to spend coin there else he's gonna have a very unhappy franchise QB. Imagine Rogers instead of Woodhead or a real NFL WR and RB on that team.

That's the point. Why spend resources on O when 10 schmucks and Brady give you a legit chance to win a title every year.

There are a few quality LBs, a lot of DLs and some quality 3rd down back/ change of pace guys in this draft. The OLs are decent as well. If BB goes Big Ugly 5 times this draft, they will be set for a while.

He won't. He'll get a big time player with one or two picks and then he'll turn 3 or 4 remaining picks into another 6 picks.

People will call him a product of Tom Brady though. Very small-minded people. ;-) ;)
