I ran the numbers once and misplaced it. But if you look at the Browns pre-merger, they had a high .600 winning percent, were regulars in the playoffs, a slew of NFL crowns, and stability. Two head coaches for their entire existence. Shitsburgh had something like a .300 winning percentage and nothing in their existenced pointed toward the success that they now enjoy. Post merger the whole thing turns upside down suddenly shits burg is the icon of stability and success while our beloved Browns are a cruel joke. I fell in love with the Browns at my first game (October 5, 1969, a loss to Detroit) and to this day I am reviled by the success of that Pennsylvania team. If they were playing the Iranians, the Nazi's, Satan, and my in-laws I still wouldn't pull for them. Thanks for the opportunity to get this one out.

In Cleveland's first twenty years in the NFL, the Steelers finished ahead of the Browns in the standings once, in 1962, Paul Brown's final season.

The Browns beat the Steelers twice that year.

Pittsburgh just tied the all-time series last year. Good indicator of how lopsided it was in our favor back in the day. They've taken three decades to climb out of a hole they dug in two.

It will be nice to start 1-0 in the division.

Even here, the stench of the Steelers fan can be smelled.

Worry not - they're not a real smart bunch, and most of them aren't old enough to remember the first 4 SB wins anyway.

They may have tied up the series but don't be fooled the Browns have won the last game of the NFL post season more often than the Steelers have.

IOW for the 5th grade level education Steeler fans it means we have won more NFL titles/championships/Superbowls.

No matter what you call em we got more.

Suck it.
