I probably would have waited until they are worth watching, but hey that's me.
In the end, we're all "only for a limited time," you guys.

I'd buy him a beer at halftime. That's an endorsement of sorts.

He might want a transistor radio instead. Or maybe one of those 25 inch TV/VCR combos.

Either one costs about the same as a beer at CBS.

Lets just all pray to our respective Gods that that dude stays unemployed.

If he gets a job he's likely to get a laptop and start posting here.

he apparently claims to have started writing on "Browns forums".

my assumption is that, it's presumably OBR.

I hope he's able to find a job, but just a really stupid time to try to live out your dream as a Browns season ticketholder, very "big fan"-esque.

I had come to the conclusion that pbfan was a regular poster's Chris Gaines. If it turns out to be this guy I will feel bad about being such a smartass to him.

That part about driving 566 miles each way in a Nissan Sentra has to be made up. Has to be.

If movies have taught us anything, it is that such journeys are made via alternate transportation ...

I need to believe in my heart that this story is not true. That this guy didnt give up a job, a family, and lives by himself in an unfurnished basement apartment solely so he could follow a pro football team. I cant believe thats a real story or I my brain will literally explode.

Bullshit, he can't be the biggest Browns fan. He doesn't wear a dog mask, dress up like a package of Frye's, or wear a dress and wig of bones.
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

I think it means he gave up living near his family. Not that he gave up a wife and kids.

That said, I still think this is stupid. Why not do a more thorough job-search ahead of time? And why does the job necessarily have to be in Cleveland? Could've looked for a job in Erie, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Ft Wayne, Toledo, etc. Those are all reasonable drives to make 8 times a year for Browns games. Much more reasonable than driving from CT.
