Maybe Daboll can suit up and play wideout himself? Couldn't be any worse than Robo.

He's played better than either of the others and at 1-5 wtf does it matter

I wasn't over fond of the Tight End reverse on 3rd down, nor the run on 3rd and 9.
People are kidnapped by aliens every day. Why can't Daboll look up and see the spinning lights?

Yeah, note my disclaimer. Its just that that's the most I've seen the ball fly down field from a Browns QB in so long that I had to keep rubbing my eyes to make sure it was real, esp considering the joke of a WR group he has to work with

Best way I can say it about Colt: He looked like he belonged out there. Typical jitters, could tell he was a rookie most of the game, but he made decisions, reactions and plenty of throws like a 3 year guy that has watched and is physically ready for the game. I know I've said this before as a few others, accuracy is number one for the QB position and Colt seems to naturally have it for the most part. He can move well enough too.
It doesn't mean squat long term right now, but it does mean he needs reps on the field during game time, not just garbage time either..and that we have a young QB on the roster.
IMO 2nd on depth chart from here on out, behind DUH.
I'd give him a B- for today, with my expectations (considering first game ever & v THEM) that grade is a solid B+. If Jake played today he'd be sitting next to Apollo in the hallway after their first fight.
Nice job Colt, you sucked me back in for the time being.

The Browns #1 pick can't crack the starting lineup in possibly the worst secondary ever. The OL looked poor for 2/3 of the game. Reggie Hodges was the POTG. If he doesn't have 3 kicks inside the ten, they have 2 more scores. Next year? two more drafts? Montantish?

Don't label Haden a bust yet. It took Hanford Dixon a couple years to evolve back in the day. Not calling him Top Dawg but CBs take some time to develop.

Pittsburgh’s quarterback looked him up afterward.
“I told him I was proud of him,” Ben Roethlisberger said. “It was not an easy task, on the road, against our defense. I told him to play well, to keep his head up, and we’ll see him down the road.”

There were certain things that were a little disappointing, such as the constant blitzing and leaving Eric Wright exposed when it's already been proven that he can't hang out there in single coverage and be effective. I thought the play calling early on, when they were trying to protect McCoy by using the wildcat, didn't make much sense. I think the fact that Brian Robiskie is essentially useless is disappointing. I think it's amazing that neither of Harrison's hits garnered a penalty.
