Good drive though for Colt. Even if it is all for naught.

What's his rating now, btw?

Its not that the bar is that low, its simply that his play did not hurt us, he didn't throw 9 ints and fumble 4 times. He has moved the team down the field and has looked poised and confident doing it. He now has that first game under his belt, that first int, and that first TD. Look for him to grow into this position and become the QB they so desperately need

89.9.
And I'm fine celebrating the kid for competing and achieving.
Not for the ability to keep urine from running down his legs.
Y'all can rub and tug each other over not being embarrassed.

Better than I expected. Not sure what that means for his future, but I would've expected that kind of performance from Delhomme as well.

Right quick:
I thought he got better as he settled in and the game slowed down.
I was surprised with his arm strength. He did not throw the ball with the same zip when I saw him in camp or in the pre season. And again, that could be a coonfidence thing too.
He's got an 'it' factor to him. He doesn't know it yet at this level but he's a guy other guys will likely get behind and follow.
I think he needs to play the rest of the season to see what you have. If that means another 2-14 or 3-13 year then so be it. At the end of the year you'll be in better position to gauge whether he's your guy or if the benefit of that 2-14 record means you select a QB.
