Not exactly having a great year, good year? Two weeks in a row now he has been beaten much more often than in the past. Nothing special in week 1 IIRC. Is he banged up, just in a funk, coaches tinkering...

?

He's not having a Pro Bowl year so far, to be sure.

But part (and only part) of the problem is the QB. When feeling pressure, Seneca Wallace tends to escape wide rather than step up in the pocket. Thomas, as a tackle, is facing speed rushers who take a wide path to the QB, and all Wallace has to do to avoid those guys (like on the play he was injured) is to step up in the pocket. Maybe Thomas's ineffectiveness has as much to do with Mack and the two guards getting pushed back into Wallace's face?

Banged up is really the only way to explain it.

This is a guy who was able to shut down james harrison multiple times and is being beaten by a guy named Stylious White and a guy who has been playing ball since prior the creation of the IPod?

Unless Im mistaken he got off to a slow start last year, then came on real strong and dominated.

Start raising your game this week Joe!

I rewatched the game and color me stunned.

If Kevin Shaeffer played half as bad as JT did Sunday this board would be in an explosive meltdown. He was turrrble at times with the speed rush.

What gives?

Grossi mentioned something on his chat that Thomas had lost of weight. But he didn't seem to know if that was connected at all to his rather poor play.
