I doubt it is possible to bring your rookie 3rd string franchise hopeful QB into a worse debut playing situation. 1-3, need a win for moral and momentum, you're in the game (although down by 3), against a defense that has not been shy about coming at your QB.

Anyone who can't practice the week of the game should be made to tread very lightly in the game. Especially if that person is the field general.

No Colt, I'd rather a knee jerk emergency signing of a healthy vet. Colt would get used like a herd of cattle, fenced in, branded, butchered and on fresh on your dinner plate in a day.
