The War to Settle the Score
In a match televised live on MTV, Hulk finally got to fight Piper. After the referee was knocked out, Paul Orndorff entered the ring and they beat up Hogan. They then turned their attentions to Cyndi Lauper. Before they attacked her, Mr. T, who was sitting in the front row, jumped into the ring to save her. The ring was then swarmed by police and WWF officials. This event led to the main event of the first WrestleMania. During the promotion of this match, wrestling reached a new level of popularity. Hulk Hogan co-hosted Saturday Night Live the night before the big match. This match was also very important to the future of the WWF. If it wasn’t successful, the company could possibly have gone out of business.

Really, these power rankings crack me up. Let's say the Browns didn't totally blow the Tampa and KC games. They sit at 3-1 and are way up those charts, despite being essentially the same team.

Most of the rankings I've seen have Steelers, Falcons, and Ravens in the Top 3 (which makes it so fun that we get to play them back to back to back). We'll see how the Browns do the next couple weeks, but after watchin them play Baltimore, there ain't a helluva lot of difference between #1 and #27, apparently.

I see why they do them, but, in all honesty, the people that put them together just pretty much list by record and reputation. They're useless rankings.

But they did blow those games, good teams do not blow those games, therefore they would not be the same team. That would be like saying if last season's Steelers did not blow their 7 losses (all by 7 points or less), they would be undefeated, but essentially the same team.

Good/Great teams know how to close out games, plain and simple

I understand what you're saying. Even when the Titans were 0-6 last year I didn't consider them the worst team even though thats where the power rankings had them.

But its still kinda cool having them.
