Ironically, I think that play that put out Shipley ended up winning us the game. Palmer really missed him on that last drive.

Few things are as distinctive in sound as a car accident or a huge hit in a football game. If I close my eyes I can hear them both clearly. The hit TJ watd laid on Jordan Shipley was football in a nutshell.

Was it late? Maybe by nano seconds.
Was it to the head? Looked like shoulder to chest/neck as it occurred in front of me.

Was it violent, necessary and a notice served? Yes, yes and yes. I have not seen a kid hit like that since Eric Turner. I have not HEARD a kid hit like that since Don Rogers.

The plastic on plastic sound cracked through the end zone. And that shot was a little shot above the bow of the remaining teams on the Browns schedule. It was wicked and it was violent and it was beautiful. When guys are screaming for the trainer and a golf cart before the receiver is done twitching, well, that's a huge hit.

Teams and players are looking for 43 folks. They'll never say it, but there are heads on swivels around the game with that kid playing CF.

And LOL to those bitching about Ryan's blitzes. While you're complaining about that bitch about the Kardashians and Hiltons being famous for nothing and complain that Ray Kroc blows at making cheese cake. You think because Eric Wright and Abe Elam can't play that Ryan's changing his lifelong MO? Nothing to do with nothing. Guys will either win their matchups or they will go. Where you guys wanna see Eric Wright match up where you feel better about him? Or Abe Elam and Sheldon Brown for that matter. The DBs blow.

Come on. You guys are smarter than that. He can opt to blitz. He will opt to blitz.

And lastly, this Ron Wolfley fella is solid. But I'm tired of him running for 100 against these AFC North teams while Harrison is relegated to up man in kickoff formations.

You didn't have to be there to know that was a stupid penalty they called. It was a clean hit, my HDTV told me so.
