NFL Mock Draft Contest ... $25 Best Buy Gift Card To Winner

Unread postby swerb » Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:29 pm

The rules are very simple. Submit a mock draft. Whoever can get the most consecutive picks correct, I'll shoot out a $25 Best Buy gift card in the mail to.

Couple ground rules. Trade's don't matter. You're predicting the slots. So if you have Oakland taking JaMarcus #1, but they trade down, and Miami moves up and takes him #1 ... you still get that pick right.

All the people who get the 1st pick right will move on to the 2nd pick. And so on and so forth. Whoever gets the most consecutive picks right, starting with #1 overall ... wins the contest.

This is tougher than it sounds, and I'd be surprised if it goes past 5 or 6 right in a row to start the draft. There's alomost a pick no one is expecting ... a monkeywrench thrown in by someone.

On that note, you don't even have to submit an entire first round. A top ten picks may be enough.

SD:

A reply to Keo on another board helped me define my selection

""Russell is the premiere talent which fills the biggest need then comes Peterson then Johnson ,
then Quinn talent wise.

As it satnds now , IMO Al Davis is going to pull his tricks and unbelievably go Johnson thus putting
Jamarcus Russell in play to us .

Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

My bad Swede! I'll blame the omission on the 25-30 beers I drank Friday and Saturday.

Get me your address. If there are no Best Buys near you in Sweden, I'll get out another goodie.

And by the way, that was a helluva mock. The most accurate one I saw anywhere.
