What is the point of him publishing something like this in today's Plain Dealer?
In fact, according to one NFL team executive, Browns General Manager Phil Savage privately asked one media member this week to please stop linking the Browns to Russell. Savage, the source said, wants to keep his desire below radar as much as possible.

My head is spinning from trying to figure out if he's helping Savage's devious plan or sabotaging it. Regardless, if it's true, I'd say Grossi is an idiot, and if it's not true, Grossi's still an idiot.

Whatever the hell Phil and Grossi are trying to do, say, or not do ... it's pretty freaking obvious to me that Savage has a raging hard on for JaMarcus.

Did you see this quote in the piece, right after several others raved about his workout?

Savage: "Awww, it was nothing special. Nothing I didn't already see when he was 14. I was just there for the show."

Translation: "I'd conspire with Bin Laden to get this kid in orange and brown."
