McGahee to the Ravens

3rd and 7th this year and 3rd next year according to ESPN.com

Not bad of a deal for a young RB.

I would have much rather had McGahee than Lewis.

I don't know how true this information is, but I had heard that McGahee is dumber than a stump.

That after 2 years of learning the Bills O, he still doesn't comprehend the entire playbook. That they simple-down the offense for him.

There is also a report out there that claims the Bills had to take a timeout or two during the season because Willie didn't know his assignment on the play.

If true, he's fit right in with the Ratbirds. :-) :)

I think if that's true he would have been a better fit with our horrid non-blocking OL.

He still had 2 good seasons in a row.

Of course our 3rd round picks are likely (this year for sure) going to have more value than Baltimore's. Either way, I wonder if Savage inquired about ol' Willis.

I will take Lewis + this year's 3rd and 7th and next year's 3rd over Willis any day of the week. This team has enough holes that we need to bring in as many players as possible.

Lewis and McGahee were not that much different last year. 3.8 YPC for WM, 3.6 for JL.

Willis is a head case, who wanted out of Buffalo because they would not make him the top paid RB in the game. We will see what Crackmore does with his contract, but if they pay him top dollar, that is good for us.

The best part is Baltimor is great at the draft and finding players in the middle/late rounds, and our signing of Lewis takes 3 chances away from them at finding a new hidden gem.
