Steinbach a Brown?

Unread postby consigliere » Fri Mar 02, 2007 12:25 am

THis is a completely unsubstantiated rumor, but according to a respected poster on the OBR who had info on LeChuck before he signed last year, he says that it is looking good that Steinbach will be a Brown.

We'll see.

STEINBACH TO BROWNS

A league source tells us that the Browns are expected to sign offensive lineman Eric Steinbach to a deal averaging $7 million per year.

Steinbach, who most recently played for the Bengals, will essentially make Steve Hutchinson money.

The four-year veteran was once of the members of the Cincy team who got busted last year. He was charged for boating while drunk.

Technically, teams can't even speak to free agents until 12:01 a.m. EST Friday. But anyone who follows the league knows that no one follows this rule.

Steinbach is the LCB of this year on the O-Line.

Any news ? I feel like a kid that woke up on Christmas morning and found nothing under the tree yet...

If you liked what Alan Faneca did for the Stillers for a decade, you'll love Steinbach.

I weep when I think of the opportunity lost of him next to laChuck.

Signing N8 and Steinbach would really help us out.

The Frahley resigning was good as well; perfect caretaker while we find out if bentley will ever play again. Just have to fix the right side in the draft and/or get Tony Pashos in the next wave.

Rumors abound that DL depth and young rotation takers are coming in the next wave of FAgency.
