Hired as the coach of the Chargers.

I guess when you are one of the preeminent offensive coordinators in the NFl your are going to find teams willing to believe you can take them to the promised land. Jim Rome had an excellent observation on Turner when he was rumored to be getting the Cowboys job: He is no leader of men, but definitely someone you want scheming your offense, and he's no slouch at developing young talent.

Norv Turner, Wade Phillips, Bob Hill, Tim Floyd, Buck Showalter ... not sure how these guys keep getting jobs.

Somewhere, these five men have to have an extensive database of photographs of professional sports owners having sexual intercourse with farm animals.

Yeah, they are in better shape with Turner than Schottenheimer. Christ.

Showalter may be one of the worst managers in baseball in the last 20 years IMO.

Yet, I may be begging for him by May 15.
