Considering the Browns publicly dismissed showing any interest in Marty, I would say there is next to no chance they will dump Romeo this late in the game for Ron Rivera.

I'm having just as hard of a time accepting it as you Spoon. But the Fat Man returns.

They should keep Rivera's number handy for week six though.

Because we already made the guy that developed Frye so well last year the Assistant Head Coach.

The entire coaching staff has been filled.

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, just saying there is about a 0.4% chance of it happening.

He is probably anticipating that Norv Turner will be fired within the next 2 years, and he wanted the inside track.

Norv Turner is a horrible coach (good coordinator) and this just shows how freaking stupid the whole situation was. There is no way someone can look me in the eye and say Turner is a better coach than Marty. All Smith and his childish antics have done in this situation was make the Chargers worse.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.
