ESPN announced that Michael Irvin, who had been an NFL analyst for ESPN since 2003, is no longer with the network.

ESPN Communications Vice President Josh Krulewitz issued a statement, saying "We thank Michael for his contributions to ESPN and wish him well."

Irvin retired in 2002 after 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame during Super Bowl festivities two weeks ago.

Now it's just down to Deion and Sharpe in the weekly "who has the most ridiculous keepin' it real suit" competition.

Let's face it, he wasn't that much more unwatchable than most of the buffoons on NFL pre-game shows. The constant belly-laughing at unfunny comments, the blank slate of Dan Marino, the absolute lack of any beneficial info on a Sunday football game. And, by the way, someone can let Chris Berman know his act is so played out it's embarrassing. My NFL Sunday has stated at 1:05 the last 3 years.

Harold Reynolds was also dismissed a while ago, who I thought did a good job.

Funny thing is, thanks to Tiki, the wrong Sharpe is now off the air (Sterling has been replaced).
