I would rather:

Round 1: Thomas
Round 2: Sears

I say we don't mess around and draft the best available lineman in both rounds. Thomas can play either tackle position with Sears playing guard on the opposite side as rookies. Eliminate the question mark that is the offensive line, then judge what you need based on how the skill players play next year.

The 2007 draft will be loaded with running backs. I really like Peterson, but it is not like he comes without questions. I know ourlads has him going to Detroit, but I think they are just buying into the Lions smokescreen. Detroit figures if we would give them the world to move up 1 spot for a tight end, what would we do for a left tackle?

#7 - AP its quite possible AP still there, if not Branch is the pick

So, with 3 picks we get 1RB, 1OL & 1DL

or we lose out on AP and get

1OL & 2 DL.

Two things need to happen to make this scenario real....

a) we pick 3 not 4 (50/50 chance)
b) Minny values Calvin higher than Jarret or Ginn and easily parts with their 2nd round pick. (from what I have been reading, there is an acknowledged big gap between Calvin and the rest, Minny has to agree)
