Browns representation at top of banner

why is the choice so limited?

I'd have one representing the past and one representing the future.

my choices would be: Jim Brown & Kam Wimbley

I LOVE Bernie, but I want a rep with a ring!

This has been the biggest hot button issue since I started this site. Im open to change, but don't want to keep changing it.

One more season of improvement from Wimbley, Jones, Winslow .... and we'll have several solid options.

In addition to being my all time favorite Cleveland athlete, Bernie is the most beloved Brown of most of the people who frequent this site. Hes a reminder/link to the last time things were good here. I didn't want to go Jim Brown because I want the banner to represent the current faces of the teams we cover. The Browns organization has no face presently. Kosar was the face the last time they had one.

I think you need to edit your post Swerb. You just called Vinny Testaverde by the name of Bernie Kosar. Vinny was the last Browns QB to put together a good season - doing well in 1995 when everybody else tanked.

When the Browns made the playoffs and went 11-5 in 1994, Kosar was gone. Leroy Hoard is a more recent face. I like Bernie but Bernie's last good season in Cleveland was 1991 and he was coming off a bad 1990 season.
