Interesting how he mentioned he truly was interested in the Miami, FL head coaching gig.

I feel it is a travesty he isn't a coach for the browns.

The Browns have offered him just about every role under the sun except offensive coordinator and head coach. Do you want Bernie in one of those roles?

The reason Bernie is not the QB coach or a key offensive assistant of some sort is by his choice. He's repeatedly said that he won't leave his business dealings and kids in college down in Florida unless it's the perfect situation.

Bernie is brilliant cause he thinks like me!

He basically blamed the overall sorry state of the Browns because of the very limited number of young seasoned corp group. Most teams have 20-25 on their roster, we had 7-9.

He thinks giving the present regime another year will give a truer test.

I was also surprised that he really liked Russell. And he might be the only guy if on the board he would take instead of trading down.

He belives that the draft is pretty deep up top (maybe 10 or so elite guys) and he thinks you trade down and pick up more draft choices and still get a stud. Say trade down 5 or so spots and pick up a 2nd rounder or so.
