Elway might not have had Kosar's ability to dissect a defense on the fly, at least at that point. But he had one thing Kosar didn't: He had a competitive streak that bordered on vicious.


Eric, can't agree with you.

Kosar did what needed to be done. The D let us all down that day.

The next year Kosar was disecting Denver's D and was leading us all to the Superbowl. Byner's ill timed fumble and Webster's not running his route cost us and robbed Kosar.

Kosar's will to win was every bit as strong as Elways.

If I'm remembering the right game, am I the only one who thinks that the field goal Denver kicked in OT to win was wide right?

You are not the only one. To me, the mystery of whether or not that FG was good ranks right up with whether the Immaculate Reception was really a catch. :eek :shock:
